SUMMER AT STAGES!
Join the fun at STAGES Youth Theater this summer!
Each summer, STAGES kids of all ages find joyful opportunities for creative expression, friendship, and fun!
Our summer programming is developed with care for meeting kids of all ages right where they are at – whether that means guided creative play, interactive role-playing adventures, or performing on the big stage for family and friends. Our excellent team of Teaching Artists love working with young people, and share our passion for helping each student unlock their self-discovery through the transformative power of theater!
No previous experience is required to PLAY at STAGES! Registration for all summer programs is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Summer 2026 day camp offerings are offered in the following categories:
- PLAYVENTURE (ages 7-9) | full-day programs (9AM-3PM) – immersive theater/role-playing adventures (up to 12 students/program)
- MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS (ages 10+) | full-day programs (9AM-3PM), plus Friday & Saturday performances – collaborative rehearsal process concluding in a weekend of public performances (app. 15-25 students/per program, depending on the show selection)

By the time our summer program begins in 2026, construction may be well underway on a new housing development on our campus (you can read more about that here). We expect our Summer to be impacted in several ways, and have done our best to plan a summer season that will have the most built-in flexibility and highest chance of success. We are really excited about our camp themes and shows, and look forward to a summer full of friendship and fun!
Families registering for our mainstage production camp programs should note that – as was the case in 2025 – the public performances for these programs will be not be performed at at STAGES. This might mean, for example, that you may be dropping your students off at one location for the first week of a program, and a different location during the final week/days leading up to the performance weekend. STAGES is in the process of securing performance venues that are within reasonable driving distance from our Woodfords Corner location, and we look forward to announcing those locations very soon!
Please reach out to us before you register for a summer program if your student requires any physical accommodations (in the event that we lose access to our elevator entrance during construction), or if you think your student might find an under-construction environment to be challenging. We would love as much time as possible to work toward a plan that allows for everyone to have a great STAGES experience next summer!
