ON-CAMPUS CONSTRUCTION:
As our campus prepares for construction to begin on a new housing development (you can read more about that here), please note that not all STAGES programs are taking place in our Woodfords Corner venue this summer. This summer’s program (as always) will be our special mix of fun, friendship and creative expression, but is utilizing some built-in flexibility of space use in our own building, and at off-site locations.
Families registering for our summer camp programs should take careful note of where programs are taking place. PlayVenture programs are taking place at STAGES, at Mad Horse Theatre Company in South Portland, and at Cheverus High School this summer. Mainstage production camps will have rehearsals in Portland venues, with performances that will be either in Portland or South Portland. This might mean, for example, that you may be dropping your students off at one location for the first week of a 2-week mainstage program, and a different location during the final week/days leading up to the performance weekend.
ACCESSIBILITY:
Please reach out to us before you register for a summer program if your student requires any physical accommodations (in the event that we lose access to our elevator entrance during construction), or if you think your student might find an under-construction environment to be challenging. We would love as much time as possible to work toward a plan that allows for everyone to have a great STAGES experience next summer!
