ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
When a Kansas farm girl named Dorothy is swept away by a sudden cyclone, she finds herself in the magical Land of Oz—an extraordinary place filled with Munchkins, witches, and a mysterious Wizard who may be her only hope of getting home. Joined by a Scarecrow in search of a brain, a Tin Man longing for a heart, and a Cowardly Lion hoping for courage, Dorothy sets off down the Yellow Brick Road on an unforgettable adventure. Along the way, they discover that the things they seek may have been inside them all along—and that there’s no place like home.
THE WIZARD OF OZ is a family-friendly, whimsical adventure filled with magic, humor, and heart. The production includes a stylized storm, a mischievous witch, and moments of mild theatrical peril, all presented in a playful and imaginative way that is suitable for most audiences.
THE WIZARD OF OZ is most suitable for audience members ages 8+. As a courtesy to our student performers and fellow audience members, STAGES will not admit infants, toddlers or young children under the age of 4 into this performance.
The STAGES Team strives to present our all-student productions with great care. If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact us any time!
MACBETH is most suitable for audience members ages 12+. While performed by young people, this production remains true to the original William Shakespeare play. STAGES urges discretion when purchasing tickets for young and/or sensitive audience members. It is also full length, non-musical play that may tax the attention span of younger audience members. As a courtesy to our student performers and fellow audience members, STAGES will not admit infants, toddlers or young children under the age of 8 into this performance.
