Rylee is a writer, artist, and thespian local to Southern Maine. They are a published novelist and award winning playwright. Their works focus on fantasy, LGBT+ themes, and mental health awareness.
As a former STAGES kid they’ve had a passion for theater for as long as they can remember. They were in over a dozen STAGES shows throughout their childhood. Some of their favorite roles include: Aunt Eller in Oklahoma!, Grantaire in Les Miserables, and Romeo in Romeo and Juliet.
In their free time they enjoy crafting, Dungeons and Dragons, and the company of their large black cat, Hades. They are ecstatic to be part of the STAGES team and for the opportunity to create and work with the brilliantly talented STAGES kids!
Rylee joined the STAGES team in 2024 as a directing team member and a Teaching Artist in our PET VETS and PLAYVENTURE Programs. They are also a brilliant designer of costumes, puppets, and props for our student productions!
