ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
SUMMARY / CONTENT ADVISORY / AGE RESTRICTIONS: In the kingdom of Queen Aggravain, no one can marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, finds a true princess – but every royal candidate fails the Queen’s impossible tests. When the boldly unconventional Princess Winnifred arrives, she turns the castle upside down and captures everyone’s hearts. Filled with clever humor, catchy songs, and fairy-tale fun, ONCE UPON A MATTRESS is a delightful musical about being yourself and finding happily ever after in unexpected places.
CONTENT ADVISORY: ONCE UPON A MATTRESS – YOUTH EDITION is a playful, family-friendly musical comedy filled with fairy tale fun, physical comedy, and whimsical characters. The show includes mild romantic themes, occasional comedic innuendo, and larger-than-life humor, all presented in a lighthearted, age-appropriate, and highly theatrical style.
ONCE UPON A MATTRESS is most suitable for audience members ages 8+. As a courtesy to our student performers and fellow audience members, STAGES will not admit infants, toddlers or young children under the age of 4 into this performance.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE BOX OFFICE
TICKET CHECK-IN:There will be NO paper or electronic tickets issued for this performance (though you will receive a PayPal receipt when checking out below). Checking in at the performances is very easy! ***Pre-paid tickets will be held in the form of a will call list.*** You and each of your party members will need to check in with this list at the box office table (which opens 30 minutes prior to performance start time). Members of your party should check in using the name of the person who purchased the tickets.
ACCESSIBILITY CONCERNS: The Odd Fellows Lodge has several accessible parking spots in front of the venue. The door is on the corner of the building, and the venue is located on the second floor. There is no elevator, but there is a modern/updated chair lift that can bring patrons to the venue level. When purchasing your tickets, please let us know (hello@stagesacademy.com) if anyone in your party requires assistance with building access and/or special seating consideration, or anything else we can do to help make sure you are seated as comfortably as possible at the show.
HEALTH POLICY: STAGES does not require audience members to wear face masks/coverings when attending our productions. Please respect the decisions of your fellow audience members with regards to whether they choose to mask or not. If you are feeling unwell, or exhibiting any cold/flu/COVID-19 symptoms, please do not attend the performance. Thank you for helping to keep our community safe.

Tickets for all seats of all performances are $18.00. There is only one ticket price for the show. All tickets are for GENERAL ADMISSION SEATS. ALL TICKET SALES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE (exchanges MAY be possible pending availability).

Note: this building is on the actual corner of Woodford St and Forest Avenue. It is the building with the iconic clock tower on the roof, and also is the home of Back Cove Books, Shaghf Cafe, and other retail businesses. This show is NOT taking place at the Woodfords Club across from STAGES.
Parking: There is no parking lot at the Odd Fellows Lodge. There is street parking on Forest (including several accessible parking spots in front of the building, and additional parking on surrounding neighborhood streets. You may also park in the STAGES parking lot (202 Woodford St), and make the short (3-5min) walk to the Show!
